TASTING NOTES
Raisins on the Vine! Dark fruit and prune jam in one bottle.
The color is a deep intense red and it smells heavenly too.
Intense aromas of blackcurrant, plum, brown sugar, clove, nutmeg, and malt are
well integrated. A small taste is all that is required to obtain the rich intensity of
the nectar, chocolate and dark fruitcake. Leaving the mid-palate surprisingly dry
with spicy notes. The finish is unique and with powerful flavor and soft sweetness.
HARVEST
Grapes were handpicked. Bunches were picked at full ripeness.
IN THE CELLAR
The naturally dried grapes were crushed and pressed in a traditional basket press. Limited release – 1500 bottles only.
IN THE VINEYARD
Each Sunkissed bunch stalk was nipped to encourage dehydration of the berries and concentration of flavor while still on the vine. Naturally dried on the vine.
FOOD SUGGESTION
An ideal partner for cheeses, dark chocolates, honey and chocolate desserts.
AGING POTENTIAL
As this is a vintage style late harvest, leave a bottle or two to age and see the youthful exuberance of our young shiraz develop into a mature, richly intense, and complex wine. Drink now or cellar for 20+ years
